Amanda’s practice focuses on international business disputes as well as internal and government investigations, including investigations involving Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations. Amanda also has broad experience in commercial and intellectual property litigation. She has successfully represented clients in cases involving trademark and copyright infringement and breach of contract. Amanda also advises clients on general corporate governance and IP issues. She attended college at Yale before obtaining her law degree from USC. Prior to law school, Amanda spent two years in Ningbo, China on a Yale-China fellowship and also lived in Argentina, Uruguay, and Spain. She is fluent in Spanish. Amanda was recognized as a Los Angeles Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in 2015 and 2016. She is involved with the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles and has had an active pro bono practice involving matters relating to Holocaust reparations and prisoners’ rights.
HANNAH CANNOM :
Hannah represents companies in intellectual property and business disputes, with an emphasis on patent, trademark, and trade secret litigation, and advises clients regarding intellectual property issues and transactions. Prior to co-founding the firm, Hannah was a senior litigator with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy’s Intellectual Property Group. At Milbank, Hannah was on the legal team that represented Apple Inc. in connection with its defense jury verdict in NetAirus Technologies, LLC v. Apple Inc., selected by the Daily Journal as one of the “Top Defense Verdicts of 2013.” Hannah graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and earned her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, in the Program in Public Interest Law and Policy. Prior to law school, Hannah taught high school special education through Teach for America. Hannah is active with the ACLU of Southern California, and serves on its Foundation Board. Hannah was also recognized as a Los Angeles Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
